Small enough to mount in a Corner out of the way and give a little extra soundVery hollow, lack depth , plastic cases lack resonance, cheap sound as if for a small radio. How ever ideal for a bedroom and at low volume.I would probably buy them again, if only for the price... If it looks to be too good it probably is...Well, to be honest, the minute I ordered them I was prepared to send them right back if they sounded terrible. But I’m keeping them.Cost no object, these would be a 1-2 star speaker. But for the price and small size, they really aren’t bad. They don’t hurt my ears to listen to them.I bought them to shortcut adding bow speakers to my fishing boat without cutting holes. They are small and light enough to mount anywhere with the included brackets. They look decent enough.They sound good at low to medium volumes. Crank them up and you’ll see the little woofer working it’s butt off, distorting everything along the way. Think I’m gonna throw some bass blockers in-line with them so they don’t get so muddy at higher volumes.Awesome design 5 Stars *****, Well well worth it. Good quality and value. Thank you!A pair of weatherproof box speakers for my golf cart (btw not used for golfing). I upgraded my car with a 2 Din video DVD head unit radio so I took the old factory Radio/CD/Tape player and mounted it into my Yamaha golf cart with an amplified antenna and these Pyle PLMR24S (silver) speakers. I turn the key and the radio fires up and these speakers kick in while I trail through the woods. For 3.5 inch speakers (plus bass ports) bass is sufficient, highs are excellent. My factory radio is probably pushing only 15 watts per channel (only using L/R fronts). These speakers (200 watt PEAK for 2 speakers, that probably means 100 watts peaked per speaker, which means about 35 to 50 watts NOMINAL handling per speaker) so it's almost a perfect match (of course I believe amp power should always over power speaker capacity for optimal clean sine waves as in my dual amp 2,700 watt peak 8 speaker car system) But HEY! We're talking about a golf cart here! PARTY ON GARTH! P.S. My border collie "Diogee" (D.O.G) loves rockin while ridin too!I purchased these speakers to play christmas music at my Nurseries, worked for 2 days then stopped, complained to Amazon and they asked for the spea to be returned in pristine condition, how can you return a item what is not fit for purpose, my advice don't buy this item I I ly used one speaker one day it stopped playing sound ,then I used the second speaker the second day same again, wontmake the same mistake again, NOT WEATHERPROOF.Wanted some small outdoor speakers for hot tub parties. Didn't want to spend a fortune so these fitted the bill. As someone else stated sound quality not great (not much bass) but you can hear them and they are not distorted so no problem for me. Small and light enough to hang off the gazebo over the tub. I'm very happy with them.Bought to use inside and outside my summer house, really easy to installand they sound good enough, the reason I've not rated higher is that the screws to fit them to the brackets were missing. Fortunately I have loads of spare screws etc so this wasn't a major issue for my. It just annoys me when parts are missing from any itemGreat for the price.If you want clear loud music then this is not it.For the price it is a great price of kit and perfectly fine for background music.Sound quality is good until you turn it to 75% and then it is rather distorted
