This is a very soft very well made pretty fabric. It has some stretch to it. I have a 13 year old Old English Sheepdog with severe arthritis so it very difficult to get something like this due to her size and arthritis. My Girl Ody is 72 pounds 25 inches long and this outfit is pliable enough to get it on her without hurting her. Most of these outfits will give you a size chart and you buy them in hopes of the chart being correct. This chart is correct and its one of the few that fits the length of her back.I had to shave my sheepdog due to her not being able to get groomed due to her arthritis and this winter has been very cold. This outfit helped to keep her warm. Its not too thick that it will make her too hot and its not thin either.I highly recommend this outfit. (It washes well too.)
