Mad Mats breathe; they don't trap water so they won't damage wooden decks
This is our first Mad Mats rug. We have 2 other similar indoor/outdoor rugs from another manufacturer that we are thrilled with however, the other manufacturer did not have any other black/white/grey options to choose from so we decided to try a Mad Mats rug. We use plastic rugs indoors because we have 2 old cats who soil standard indoor rugs - plastic rugs are perfect to add a bit of color and pizzazz and tie a room together but we don't have to worry about them getting quickly ruined by a furry friend. The quality of the rug is fine, not quite as good as the other manufacturer but good enough. We love the design but it's just not a true white as shown in the Amazon listing. The picture I am attached shows a piece of printer paper on the rug so you can see the true color of the rug. When I took a picture of the rug without the paper on it, it looked similar to the Amazon picture so Mad Mats does not seem to be providing a poor image. It's just not white. Even the printer paper doesn't look true white in the image (and please pardon the black lines on the back of the sheet I recycled). Fortunately we were able to move things around to place the rug in a room that does not have a lot of true white and it looks great. One other thing - we have used a rug pad on all of the "plastic" rugs to keep them in place and make them feel more like a standard rug.Although a beautiful design…photo on site showed a WHITE background….it was not WHITE…now I’m stuck
