Many of the reviews chased me off of ordering this light fixture but with Amazon return policy I thought I would take a gamble as I could not find anything elsewhere I liked. The design is perfect, The metal is not heavy duty and would be prone to hail damage but adequate. The metal is not actually brushed nickel but accurately describes the color and when mounted it will appear brushed nickel. It is expensive but I am paying for the design which is superb. Nicely designed fixtures simply cost more. I am a homeowner builder and designed my own house and did the electrical. I share this to add some credibility to my review.I have not installed yet but dont expect any issues, The listing photo is very poor and does not represent the fixture well. I would suggest you give it a try.
